CENTURY 21 Scheetz - Engaging Just Listed Videos
One of my proudest accomplishments during my time at CENTURY 21 Scheetz has been introducing the use of reels to promote new listings for our agents. Reels are an incredibly effective way to showcase properties, offering an engaging alternative to static photo posts. My approach allows REALTORS® to leverage the power of video without relying on me to physically visit every new listing. Given the size of our marketing team, it’s not feasible to film properties on-site, so I’ve developed a system that utilizes professional MLS photography to create compelling and polished reels.
Using tools like Canva and CapCut, I transform still photography into dynamic video content. By adding seamless transitions and a natural flow from room to room, these reels bring the property to life, offering potential buyers a more immersive experience. To enhance the impact, I incorporate background music, add a custom contact slide at the end, and include a clear call-to-action (CTA) to drive engagement and inquiries. These finishing touches not only elevate the overall quality but also make it easy for REALTORS® to share the reels directly to their social media accounts.
CENTURY 21 Scheetz - Open House Walkthrough Reels
As part of my video work with CENTURY 21 Scheetz, I occasionally film walkthroughs of homes during Open Houses, per agent request. While I always enjoy getting to see the beautiful and unique features of these properties, my favorite aspect of these videos is finding ways to incorporate the agent into the content. REALTORS®, as small business owners, rely heavily on showcasing their personality and presence to build their brand. Including them in these videos adds a personal touch and helps foster a deeper connection with their audience.
For these walkthrough videos, I use my iPhone to capture smooth, panning shots of each room, highlighting the home’s flow and standout features. After filming, I bring the footage into CapCut, where I enhance the video quality and stabilize any shaky movement for a polished final product. Depending on the project, I may add transitions to create a seamless flow between clips, ensuring the video feels professional and cohesive.
To further personalize these videos, I create an ending slide in Canva featuring the agent’s contact information and photo, making it easy for potential buyers to reach out. Music is another key element in these videos, as it helps boost engagement. I work with the agent to select tracks that resonate with their brand and the tone of the property, whether through CapCut or using platform-specific music options on Instagram or TikTok.
The Eclectic Chameleon - Home Staging Walkthroughs
One of my most rewarding collaborations is with Lindsey Moulton, the owner of The Eclectic Chameleon (TEC) Home Staging. Lindsey’s vibrant personality and exceptional design talent make working with her both fun and inspiring. I frequently travel around central Indiana to help her showcase her stunning staging work, creating reels that highlight both her creative flair and the beauty of the homes she stages.
A key focus of these reels is capturing Lindsey’s energy and expertise, which is why we often start with an opening hook featuring her. This might include a brief clip of her introducing the property or showcasing a favorite detail in her staging. From there, I film the beautifully staged rooms, taking care to highlight the flow and unique design elements. To add variety and depth to the reels, I also incorporate still images of the home, which allow us to showcase the finer details of her staging pieces.
Once the footage is gathered, I edit everything in CapCut, ensuring the final product is polished and professional. I stabilize and enhance the video quality, smooth transitions between clips, and refine the audio for a seamless experience. Each reel begins with a title slide featuring the home’s address and ends with a contact slide showcasing Lindsey’s information, making it easy for potential clients to connect with her. Together, Lindsey and I collaborate on the strategy for each reel, deciding what aspects of the staging and property we want to emphasize.
CENTURY 21 Scheetz - Event Reels
One of my favorite aspects of working at CENTURY 21 Scheetz is creating reels that highlight the amazing events we host throughout the year. Among these, the annual Halloween Bash at the Indianapolis Children’s Museum stands out as one of my favorites. This client appreciation event allows our agents to invite their sphere to enjoy an exclusive, private experience at one of the most iconic venues in Indianapolis. While my role extends far beyond just filming—encompassing planning, logistics, and event execution—I love using reels to showcase the perks of being an agent with Scheetz and the exceptional experiences we offer their clients.
During last year’s Halloween Bash, I captured footage on my iPhone of guests exploring exhibits, engaging with the hired entertainment, and enjoying the family-friendly festivities. The goal was to convey the vibrant atmosphere and excitement of the event, not just for our agents and their clients but for their kids as well. The footage was carefully edited in CapCut, where I pieced together the highlights to tell a cohesive story of the event. I enhanced the quality of the clips, stabilized any shaky footage, and used Canva and Adobe Illustrator to design an opening slide that featured themed vector graphics and our logos for a polished introduction.
To tie it all together, I curated an engaging caption that emphasized the unique value of being part of CENTURY 21 Scheetz, whether as an agent or a client. For the music, I added a Halloween favorite, "Monster Mash," using Meta’s tools to align with the festive theme and boost engagement. The result was a fun, high-energy reel that not only captured the magic of the event but also showcased the extraordinary opportunities and experiences that come with being a part of Scheetz.
